Making a Very Short Film.
This workshop aims to rediscover the participants’ very close surrounding environment, and to use the human and material resources available to the trainee in order to make a very short film of no more than five minutes, using these production tools.

Enrollment process:

– The center’s administration will review the forms and compile a list of accepted participants.
– Successful applicants will be contacted via email, so please ensure that you provide accurate contact information.
– After receiving a confirmation email of acceptance, workshop fees are to be paid within a maximum of 4 days from the day of receiving the acceptance email.
-The fees can be paid at the reception desk, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays.
Please note that the reception is closed on Sundays.
About the Facilitators:
Islam Kamal is a filmmaker and a director of the center’s cinema program, he participated in the making of a large number of feature and documentary films, with prestigious international participation since 2009.
Sameh Gamal is a screenwriter and a producer. He worked as a producer, executive producer, and a line producer on a large number of narrative and documentary films..feature-long and short films, that are classified as a European-Egyptian co-production films, and which participated in many international film festivals.
Mario Mohareb is a cinematographer. He is a graduate of the High Cinema Institute, Department of Cinematography. He worked as a director of photography for several independent documentaries and feature films. He also worked as a photographer and an assistant cameraman on many series, films and advertising campaigns. For more than eight years, he worked as a teacher and a filmmaking trainer in multiple places, such as the British University in Egypt and Jesuit film schools. He recently worked as a project manager for the Egyptian versions of the “Cámara Chica” and “Beyond Borders” projects, which specialize in teaching filmmaking to children around the world.
