New Women Foundation:
An Egyptian NGO organization that supports women’s rights in Egypt, by contributing to the development of public policies and providing support services. The foundation believes in women’s unconditional right to freedom, equality, and social justice. It also believes that women’s social, political, economic, and reproductive rights and the right to citizenship are an integral part of human rights.
Bab Elhkyat:
The first personal storytelling group in Alexandria since 2015. They have presented many artistic workshops, storytelling nights, and artistic performances. Most of their work is focused on women’s issues, such as “A Miss Wanted” and “Henna Show,” etc.
Bar Aman Initiative:
A non-profit feminist initiative that works on raising awareness about women’s issues and gender-based violence, and to provide support to girls in their struggle inside and outside Egyptian homes. Its vision is a safe, supportive society for women that is free of violence and discrimination.
