On the occasion of family gatherings during the holy month of Ramadan, the Jesuit Cinema Club presents a discussion and screening exploring the life of the Egyptian family across three different time periods. We will examine how family influences individuals’ lives, choices, and development throughout the journey of the film.

The Jesuit Cinema Club’s Ramadan program is prepared and presented by students of the Jesuit Cinema School, Class of (2024 – 2025).

The film revolves around “Salah El-Din Ashour,” a son who is left in charge of managing a private school after the death of his father, Ashour Salah El-Din, the strong and authoritative principal. Salah El-Din, a young man lacking experience and knowledge in management, faces significant challenges as he tries to find himself and learn responsibility. With the help of his friends, Sayed and Atef, he must confront student issues and deal with the corrupt school administrator.
