The first step for you to study drawing correctly and know the basic needs that pave the way for you to be a plastic/visual artist.
You will train your eyes so that they can see correctly and draw anything in front of you from nature, not from pictures only.
You will start studying academically and methodologically how to draw with clear steps.
You will know how to hold the pen correctly, and how to correctly sit in front of the painting.

You will also learn the basics of design, perspective, shading, and others through our study of different elements of still life and the analysis of shapes and elements.

Thursdays 6 – 13 – 20 July from 5 to 9 pm
On Wednesday, July 26th, from 1 to 5 p.m

Material: lead pencil

What’s required:
– Charcoal eraser
– Cutter
– Faber-Castell or Staedtler B-3b-6b pencils
– A3 sheets

Age group: from 12 to 18 years

Number of participants: 15 participants

Deadline for participation in the workshop: Monday, July 3, or when the number of participants is complete

The price of participation in the workshop: 300 EGP
Payment is made at the reception desk daily from 9 am to 9 pm, except for Sundays and official holidays

About the artist / Fares El-Siagy
Egyptian visual artist, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography in 2011
Freelance lecturer of plastic/visual art since 2013 in several cultural and artistic centers in Cairo, Alexandria, Mansoura and El-Mahalla El-Kubra.
He has many students in many other countries outside Egypt
Founding Director of Tahwega for Culture and Arts in Alexandria Until 2018
Participated in many local and international exhibitions
Participated in the annual exhibition (at the courthouse in Vienna) kunst zu recht from 2011 to 2023 and it is considered the largest exhibition of contemporary art in Austria.
He has diverse experiences in different fields of visual arts
He has multiple holdings with some institutions and individuals such as: the National Bank of Egypt – the Russian Cultural Center in Alexandria – Marian Volden, former director of the Swedish Cultural Center, and others..
