Klaxics is the largest acapella group in Egypt who follows a classical art of singing that relies solely on human voices rather than musical instruments to make music. You can listen to the Klaxics’ songs to date here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL87kSlmqWEHN7UKiTGFlnreGR7zwYhPaO
Klaxics is one of Dalia Ehab Younes’ unique projects. In 2018, she created a group where anyone can apply without restrictions like age, profession, education or previous musical experience.
Dalia is coming with Klaxics to hold the first acapella workshop in Alexandria hosted by the Jesuit Cultural Center for three days, in which the participants will learn the principles of singing in this unique way, and some of them will also be able to participate in Klaxics’ concert at the end of the workshop.
First day: from 5-9 pm.
Second day: from 5-9 pm.
Third day of the workshop: from 11 am to 6 pm.
Saturday, July 22: Klaxics Concert Day, with the participation of the workshop members: from 7-9 pm.
About Dalia:
A medical doctor by education, a content creator in the field of development by profession, and an artist and independent activist with passion by day.
Realising her passion, Dalia started taking music more seriously in 2017, starting several community singing initiatives, performing live, writing and composing her own songs, arranging choirs, joining and leading choirs, conducting songwriting workshops, and singing acapella.
Dalia has been featured in national and international media frequently due to her unique projects and ideas. Over the past five years, Dalia has succeeded in presenting many artistic projects that have attracted hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
The core values of all of her projects include giving voice to the voiceless, creating a safe space for empowerment, support, self-expression, and respect for inclusion and diversity.
