Some experts use terms such as “clique” or “bunch” to describe adolescents’ friendship groups. The child usually lives inside the family “cocoon” until he starts adolescence. It’s an exciting phase, but it also arouses fear and anxiety.
No one can ignore that friendships and being part of a group during Adolescence are essential for the teenager’s development.
The objectives of this meeting:
Understanding the importance of friendship for adolescents.
The limits of parents interference in their children’s friendships.
How can parents face unwanted friendships in a positive way especially since it’s a critical point of disagreement between parents and adolescents.
Recognize friendship and its intersections in adolescent’s social life and developing his personality negatively or positively.
