“Sayed Darwish’s Time” exhibition is a visual search in the photographical archives of the cities of Alexandria, Cairo, and Aleppo in the period between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. Yasmine Hussein is an independent researcher and artist. She is passionate about the history, heritage and the nature of the city of Alexandria. She worked as a visual artist on more than one solo and group exhibitions and curated exhibitions at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Darb 1718 in Cairo, and exhibited her work in Egypt, France, and Tunisia.
