About Event:

“Palm of Christ” tells the compelling story of two generations, Susanna and Susanna, a grandmother and granddaughter. The novel explores the struggle to break free from the limitations imposed by the grandmother’s authority, as the granddaughter rebels against her grandmother’s beliefs. The narrative unfolds across three distinct settings: Old Cairo in Cairo, Al Max, and Roshdy in Alexandria. Through shifts between the past and present, we delve into the characters’ backgrounds, unraveling their complex relationships. This socially and humanly conscious work delves into the intricacies of human nature and its connection to oneself and society. At the heart of the events lies Susanna, a Christian woman who steers her family’s path, driven by her unwavering faith in a prophecy revealed by a palm reader. Will the prophecy ultimately come true?
