Experience the Stage of Adventure and Experimentation in Saeed Marzouk’s Cinema: In October, the Jesuit Cinema Club presents a special program highlighting the early films of the esteemed Egyptian director, Mr. Saeed Marzouk. The cinema club has carefully selected Marzouk’s groundbreaking works, including his first feature films, “My Wife and the Dog” (1971) and “Fear” (1972). These films mark a new and innovative phase in Egyptian cinema, deviating from the mainstream in terms of narrative style and introducing fresh ideas. They have surpassed similar international attempts of the time, solidifying Marzouk’s status as a visionary filmmaker.

After confiding in Nour about his romantic entanglements with his friends’ wives, Reese asks him to deliver a letter to his own wife, Souad, leading to unforeseen consequences.
