About Dr. Khairy Douma:
He is a professor at Cairo University and the American University in Cairo, specializing in modern Arabic literature. He has conducted studies on short stories and Arab narrative, along with various translations in criticism and storytelling.

About the Moderator, Mr. Ihab Al-Mallah:
Ihab Al-Mallah is an Egyptian writer, critic, and journalist, specializing in cultural heritage. He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian national magazine October, publishing consultant at Dar Al-Maaref, and Editor-in-Chief of the series Diwan Al-Nathr Al-Masry by the Egyptian General Book Organization. He is also a member of the Higher Committee of the Egyptian Family Library Project (Egyptian Ministry of Culture) since 2017 and Managing Editor of the series Alam Al-Turath, published by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. Al-Mallah regularly writes for Egyptian and Arab periodicals, including October, Al-Shorouk, Cairo, and Al-Ittihad (UAE), and contributes research papers to peer-reviewed academic journals.
