*”In the Family House: The Hero’s Journey and Our Journey”*

On the occasion of family gatherings during the holy month of Ramadan, the Jesuit Cinema Club presents a discussion and screening exploring the life of the Egyptian family across three different time periods. We will examine how family influences individuals’ lives, choices, and development throughout the journey of the film.

The Jesuit Cinema Club’s Ramadan program is prepared and presented by students of the Jesuit Cinema School, Class of (2024 – 2025).

**”Zizi’s Family”**

The film revolves around a five-year-old girl named “Zizi,” who finds the lives of adults complicated through her siblings. Each member of Zizi’s family has a distinct personality: the eldest brother, “Sabaawy,” an engineer, strives to invent a machine that turns cotton into fabric; the second brother, “Samy,” a university student, falls in love with his neighbor; while the sister, “Sanaa,” dreams of becoming a television star. Each of them tries to achieve their ambitions, leading to a series of comedic situations.
